  • Bluetooth streaming

One box, no clutter

If you want a simple solution that avoids the clutter of surround sound speakers, Minx TV is hard to beat. Unlike soundbars, it delivers a punchy performance without the need for an external subwoofer, avoiding any extra clutter in your living room.

Simple to set up, simple to use

As well as featuring a built-in subwoofer to minimise clutter and maximise simplicity, Minx TV fits neatly under your TV and is simple to set up. Just plug in power and connect to your TV’s audio output. There are three ways to connect (optical, RCA or 3.5mm headphone jack) so it works with any television. It even comes with all the cables you could need and a slender remote control to set volume, input and sound mode.

Bluetooth streaming is equally straightforward. Press one button on the remote control and your smartphone, tablet or laptop can discover it. Minx TV can remember up to eight devices, so the whole family can wirelessly stream their music to it.

BMR drivers

Patented Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) speaker drivers deliver a wider, more room-filling sound than similarly-sized traditional speakers – ideal for a one-box TV, movie and music system. Regular speakers, like you’ll find in TVs and sound bars, use a "pistonic" effect to move back and forward to create sound. Our BMR speakers create sound by moving not just back and forward, but with horizontal and vertical vibration too, for a much wider sound, as shown in the video opposite.

This unique speaker design disperses the sound better and makes for a larger “sweet spot”; sit anywhere in the room and Minx TV still sounds great.

6.5-inch subwoofer

Minx TV has a built-in, downwards-firing subwoofer to boost bass. Unlike sound bars, there's no need to plug in an external sub. And because the sub points downwards, positioning is unimportant and the speaker cone is safe from knocks.

Digital signal processing (DSP)

Minx TV uses advanced technology developed for music and movie production to get the biggest sound possible in its compact enclosure. The results are truly amazing, with sound that’s louder, crisper and fuller than other TV one-box systems.

A range of inputs

  • Digital optical (TosLink)
  • RCA line level
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • Bluetooth wireless streaming - one button pairing, with up to 8 audio devices.

Solid construction

Stress tested up to 30kg, Minx TV is so strong it can support up to 47-inch screens (any TV as long as it fits on Minx TV’s 490x300mm top). The solidly built composite wood cabinet is also acoustically damped to minimise vibration and distortion to keep sound as pure as possible.

Eco-friendly

Less than 0.5W standby power consumption and auto power down if not used for 20 minutes.

“The difference from my TV’s insipid built-in sound is amazing. The drama in Homeland is more compelling, while mumbled dialogue in Breaking Bad is now crystal clear. My kids also like to stream music from their phones via Bluetooth”

Mr Boo

"I bought one today, set it up in about 30 seconds, and can safely say it's an amazing bit of kit. Very easy to use, looks great under the tv, and sounds brilliant. Got my phone synced up via bluetooth, and had music blasting out of it. Sounds good to my ears. Even my wife was impressed!! Watched Fast and Furious 6 on it earlier, and cannot fault it for sound quality. Nice and clean, bass isn't overpowering but somehow still thumps your chest when it needs to."

"While I consider myself an amateur audiophile (at the heart of my main system is CA 650A) I didn't expect anything special from Minx Tv. All in all it's just a all-in-one speaker system for a tv which I don't even own, right? Well, I was wrong:) It sounds amazing! I ended up using it as a separate sound system in our kitchen. Connected my girlfriend's iPod Touch via bluetooth - the simplest set-up and it sounds great straight away! Connected my Fiio X3 FLAC player via Line in - even better! You are doing a great job! Thanks again!"
