Der Komfort von gestreamter Musik wurde früher durch Qualitätseinbußen geschmälert. Dies ist dank besserer Codecs, höheren Breitbandgeschwindigkeiten und Produkten wie dem CXN V2 nicht mehr der Fall. Er wurde entwickelt, um einen mühelosen Zugriff auf das Format mit einer kompromisslosen Klangqualität zu gewährleisten, die wir dank unserer über 50-jährigen HiFi-Erfahrung mit dir teilen können.
Alles, was du willst
Der CXN V2 bietet dir den Zugriff auf hochauflösende Streaming-Dienste (sowohl kostenlose also auch Abo-Dienste) wie Internetradio, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect und Qobuz. Mit dem integrierten Apple AirPlay 2 und Chromecast kannst du unter anderem auf Apple Music, Amazon Music oder BBC Sounds zugreifen. Der CXN V2 ist außerdem Roon Ready, was das Durchsuchen deiner digitalen Musikdateien vereinfacht – unabhängig von der Quelle.
Die ganze Geschichte
Mühelos die Musik zu bekommen, die du dir wünschst, ist eine Sache. Von ihrer Klangtreue emotional bewegt zu werden, ist das andere. Deshalb ist der CXN V2 mit zwei DACs der Wolfson WM8740-Serie ausgestattet. Durch die Hochskalierung digitaler Musik auf 24 Bit/384 kHz mit unserer einzigartigen ATF2-Technologie wird die Musik mit einer Wärme, Tiefe und Nuance wiedergegeben, die man nicht oft mit digitalem Audio verbindet.
StreamMagic
Das Herzstück des CXN V2 ist unsere maßgeschneiderte Streaming-Plattform und App, die wir bereits seit über 10 Jahren perfektionieren. Sie ist für das elegante, nahtlose und stabile Hörerlebnis des Netzwerk players aus jeder digitalen Quelle verantwortlich. Der CXN V2 basiert auf dem StreamMagic-Modul Gen3. Seine Firmware lässt sich kabellos aktualisieren, um Updates und Zugang zu neuen Diensten zu erhalten.
Kontrolle. Klar und simpel
Die Interaktion mit dem CXN V2 könnte nicht einfacher sein. Mit unserer StreamMagic-App kannst du alle angeschlossenen Quellen intuitiv steuern und bequem vom Sofa aus Wiedergabelisten zusammenstellen, Voreinstellungen festlegen oder Alben durchsuchen. Das Gerät ist außerdem mit einer Fernbedienung und einem intuitiven Wählrad an der Gerätefront ausgestattet. Das Farbdisplay des CXN V2 bestätigt Befehle und zeigt das Artwork des Albums an, das du gerade hörst.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the CXNv2. We're genuinely sorry to hear that you’ve encountered connectivity issues.
The CXNv2 has been designed to work with modern WiFi networks, but due to the complexity and unique nature of home network setups, we cannot guarantee complete compatibility with every possible configuration. All WiFi 7 networks should be backwards compatible, and other WiFI 7 network users have not reported to us directly about an issue. However, we always appreciate feedback like yours, as it helps us continue to improve and support our customers as best we can.
We only recommend using the included WiFi dongle with the CXNv2, as this is the only one we have tested and can guarantee compatibility with. Third-party dongles may not perform as expected, and unfortunately, we cannot provide support for these.
Regarding the pauses or dropouts in audio, we suspect these may be related to the specifics of your home network rather than the network player itself, though we appreciate that this can be difficult to determine definitively.
We truly appreciate you sharing your honest experience, but we also want to clarify that this does not necessarily indicate an inherent issue with the CXNv2 or its compatibility with modern networks. If there is anything further we can do to assist, please do not hesitate to reach out.

When I listen to Tidal, it is very often that the cxn v2 randomly pauses the tracks, which is obviously very annoying and not something you'd expect from a $1000 player.

Solid unit with great sound...very much like my 851N was (it died a few weeks back). It's just not in black. The grey is OK, but CA needs to make color consistent across site...is it Grey, Luna Grey or Lunar Grey.

I've had this about 6 months now and it gets daily use, connecting via WiFi. I am mostly using the Internet Radio function with occasional Spotify and I also route my Cambridge CD player though it to use the better quality DACs. I have an oooold Cambridge amp (> 20 years but still going strong) and Wharfedale Diamonds.
I have just bought the BT100 dongle as it's heavily discounted (Nov 2023) which basically means I can run everything I have music on through the system now.
This unit is incredible - I don't pretend to understand what everything means and how it all works but it is so simple to set up and use via the StreamMagic app - I don't think I have used the remote since the day it arrived.
The unit is robust, looks great, feels solid. Plenty of output/input connections.
Sound quality is superb - I know my amp/speakers aren't the best but the whole set up sounds great to me and the additional quality it gives to the CD player is clearly noticeable.
It's hard to know what else to say - I just 'use it'. It's been great fun exploring internet radio from other countries and for stations not on local DAB.
I think the StreamMagic app is very easy to use and lets you do everything remotely you need to do, everything works flawlessly.
Basically, I'm dead impressed and am looking forward to having a play with the Bluetooth aspects when the dongle arrives.

I wanted to share my honest experience with the CXN, hoping that it might help guide you in your decision-making process. I put in quite a bit of time troubleshooting the device, and I discovered that it doesn't seem to fit well with modern networks—especially when it comes to supporting current wireless standards.
I ran packet captures that showed the CXN doesn't advertise AirPlay and Chromecast services on WiFi 7 networks. I tested this not only on the Cisco Catalyst CW9176I and CW9163E access points but also on the latest BT WiFi 7 router. Despite these clear findings, when I reached out for help, I found that I wasn’t provided with a clear solution. They didn't offer any advice on which dongle would work or how to install one that might resolve the issue, nor did they acknowledge that the CXN might not be fully compatible with modern wireless networks.
I’m leaving this review as a genuine, honest reflection of my experience. I truly believe that being transparent is key, and I hope that others won’t be caught off guard by the current limitations of the CXN. If you're expecting a device that seamlessly integrates with the latest networks, this might be a significant consideration.
Audio also pauses often and this is a problem other customers have pointed as well.
