I bought this as a replacement for my much loved Air200, which was a great little speaker. At £1000 more, I was expecting great things from the Evo One. Sadly, it’s going to be returned. While it looks fantastic, the bass is overly heavy and ‘swampy’, while the treble is weak and the midrange woolly and undefined.
I stupidly bought it unheard, on the basis of the Air200 and the great reviews, but instead I’ve finally gone into Richer Sounds for some demos and am going to spend a bit (actually quite a lot) more and replace it with Cambridge Audio separates, which sound so much better than this all-in-one — probably no surprise to the audiophiles out there.
It may be that this is the best all-in-one that money can buy, but, for me, this is just too much to spend on the sound it delivers (we thought it wasn’t markedly better than the Air200). If you’re looking for something that looks great in your living room and you like a bassy sound (electronica sounded great, but I love classical music and it just wasn’t up to the mark here), it’s absolutely worth a listen.Lire la suite Read lessResponse from

I found this device extremely easy to set up and use, even for an old guy like me. The sound is fantastic and fills my relatively small family room. As others have noted, the entire room is the "sweet spot. " Highly recommended!
