I got my pair of Melomania 1 for my birthday.
Super impressed with everything! The packaging was cool and the product is fantastic, really good quality.
The earphones are brilliant and the sound quality from such a small in ear bud is brilliant. Connection was simple and was up and running in time.

This a review after owning a pair for 3 months and missing out on the latest version.
I decided after being give an iphone 11 that I needed to upgrade my in ear audio experience from the RHA S500 in ear buds, I was looking at the latest RHA true connect offerings but the reviews were more about the usage for calls and noise cancelation etc rather than how they good they were for music.
I wasn’t after anything that was tech heavy I just wanted good sound and not for and extreme amount of money.
Like anyone else out there I hit the youtube reviews, I must have watched half a dozen and regularly the name Cambridge audio came up.
So I looked into the wireless offerings and all the recent reviews of the Melomania 1 even though they were older than the Melomania Touch, they were all glowing in regards to the music and specifically bass.
I’m an avid house head and you can never have enough bass, with the RHA’s I had to by an app to help with the EQ levels as the music player was rubbish. Or so I thought.

So looking on the main website I could see they had been discounted, I headed over to Richer Sounds to see if they had them any cheaper and they did with free postage.
I got the earpods and they looked better in real life, I followed the instruction to the letter as all reviews had said and even the great help pages on the main website.
It took me a while to find the right size earphone tips, the silicone were comfy but didn’t give me the bass I wanted, so I tried the foam, the two sizes provided were a very tight fit and actually hurt for a bit, but my god did they give the bass I wanted.
I had a pair of foam tips with the RHA and I never thought to try them, I wacked them on and straight I got the missing bass I was after. Lesson learnt!!
2 months on I have the perfect set up with my EQ app and even the apple music EQ’s sound good.
I have found that pushing and twisting as you insert also can get better levels.
Now I do listen to a lot of other music that isn’t bass heavy and the clarity and depth I can now hear is quite incredible from where I had been, I’m sure the new touch are next level and I guess when these fail I’ll be looking to get the next level in sound quality.
The battery life is really good, and I guess it goes with personal usage, mine are in almost all day of the working week and I wait for the box to get to light one before charging, I have only charged it fully 3 times so far which I think it pretty good, but I don’t have a reference.

I own Cambridge Audio stereo components, so selecting Melomania earbuds was not a difficult choice. The sound is amazing. I wish the tips were a better fit, though. I prefer the memory foam, and the ones provided come in only two sizes: Small and smaller. Nevertheless, I'm already considering upgrading to the Touch.

I’ve been running these for over a year and you really don’t appreciate how good they are until you try something else. I foolishly bought some AirPod Pro’s because I wanted the option to hear external noise without removing them. They are so light and tiny it’s easy to misplace them. First time I tried the AirPods was so disappointing, as a big Apple fan I couldn’t believe how poor they sounded compared to these beauties. The battery level is insane and my only criticism is that they can’t go through the washing machine without breaking. In fairness, though you can buy a pair of buds for £50 and use your original battery case, so fair play to Cambridge.

On a genuine negative, there can be connection issues and I don’t have confidence during phone calls but most of the time it’s about the music so I’m not too bothered.
