Getting hold of the music you want easily is one thing. Being moved by its fidelity is another. That’s why CXN V2 packs dual Wolfson WM8740 series DACs. By upscaling any digital music to an information-packed 24-bit/384kHz using our unique ATF2 technology, music is delivered with a warmth, depth and nuance not often associated with digital audio.

At the heart of CXN V2 lies our bespoke streaming platform and app, which we’ve been perfecting for over 10 years. It’s responsible for the network player’s slick, seamless and stable listening experience from any digital source. Built around StreamMagic module Gen3, CXN V2 can have its firmware upgraded over-the-air to receive updates and access to new services.

Interacting with CXN V2 couldn’t be easier. Our StreamMagic app allows intuitive control of all connected sources – to curate playlists, set presets or browse albums conveniently from your sofa. Solid unit with great sound...very much like my 851N was (it died a few weeks back). It's just not in black. The grey is OK, but CA needs to make color consistent across site...is it Grey, Luna Grey or Lunar Grey.

I've had this about 6 months now and it gets daily use, connecting via WiFi. I am mostly using the Internet Radio function with occasional Spotify and I also route my Cambridge CD player though it to use the better quality DACs. I have an oooold Cambridge amp (> 20 years but still going strong) and Wharfedale Diamonds.
I have just bought the BT100 dongle as it's heavily discounted (Nov 2023) which basically means I can run everything I have music on through the system now.
This unit is incredible - I don't pretend to understand what everything means and how it all works but it is so simple to set up and use via the StreamMagic app - I don't think I have used the remote since the day it arrived.
The unit is robust, looks great, feels solid. Plenty of output/input connections.
Sound quality is superb - I know my amp/speakers aren't the best but the whole set up sounds great to me and the additional quality it gives to the CD player is clearly noticeable.
It's hard to know what else to say - I just 'use it'. It's been great fun exploring internet radio from other countries and for stations not on local DAB.
I think the StreamMagic app is very easy to use and lets you do everything remotely you need to do, everything works flawlessly.
Basically, I'm dead impressed and am looking forward to having a play with the Bluetooth aspects when the dongle arrives.

When I listen to Tidal, it is very often that the cxn v2 randomly pauses the tracks, which is obviously very annoying and not something you'd expect from a $1000 player.
Just get it fixed.
