Every critical component of Evo S has been chosen with one aim in mind: to deliver class-leading audio performance. From the 1” black silk dome tweeters to the 6.5” anodized aluminium mid-bass drivers, the medium density fibreboard cabinet construction to the gold electroplated speaker binding posts – Evo S is designed and engineered to perform alongside Evo.

Thanks to their specification and design, which includes rear bass ports, Evo S can cover the high-resolution audio frequency range from a super-low 50Hz to crisp 40kHz top end. Ich habe die Lautsprecher gekauft, weil ich der Meinung bin, dass sie in der Gesamtheit (Abstimmung und Aussehen) am besten zum meiner Anlage, bestehend aus dem Evo 150/Evo CD und Alva TT V 2 passen. Da es sich auch um eine 8 Ohm Box handelt und die Leistung ebenfalls an den Evo 150 angepasst ist, denke ich, dass ich nichts falsch gemacht habe. Soweit so gut.
Etwas enttäuscht bin ich aber über die Farbe der beigefügten Lautsprecherkabel (creme-weiss). Das sieht billig aus und passt nicht in den Gesamteindruck. Von der Qualität mögen sie zwar gut sein, aber warum nicht in schwarz wie die Anlage in der Gesamtheit?
Ich benutze sie daher nicht, da die Kabel bei meiner Aufstellung auch teilweise sichtbar sind. Sehr gut finde ich wiederum, dass Bassstöpsel beigefügt sind.Letztendlich möchte ich darauf hinweisen, dass das Auspacken/Herausziehen der Lautsprecher aus der unteren Styroporhalterung des Karton dazu führen kann, dass man versehentlich in die ungeschützte Membrane des Lautsprechers greift und sie eindrückt. Hier fehlt ein Warnhinweis oder ähnliches.

The EVO S speakers are rather heavy for their size, very nice matte black finish, solid connectors, excellent 3m cables (included). Bass frequencies are subtle but present, mid / high frequencies are crystal clear, overall sounds is dynamic and very truth to the source. Very nice speakers!

I already enhanced my HiFi equiment by EVO 150 and EVO CD and I looked for small, but great performing speakers.
The EVO S surprised me... They provide a clear unaffected sound. I enjoy daily having voices of e.g. Silje Neergard / Hanne Boel / Al Jarreau filling my room.
Recommend by heart!
