just a short feedback about my recently purchased EVO 150. Besides my beloved CXC V2 the EVO is the second Cambridge device in my stereo setup. Hell of a streaming amp. No interface i need is missing…very easy and logical setup for all sources in my system. The EVO is high quality manufactured and a real eyecatcher in my living room. 
Last but not least the most important note: The sound is awesome! The built-in DAC and amplifier units are a real joy for my B&W 703 S2 and my ears.

I bought the Eve 150 as a Christmas gift back in December 2022. We were really satisfied with sound and streaming quality although the app performance is rather poor and loses connection pretty often. But it had been one of the reasons we choose EVO that you can do most of the operation from the front panel. so we do not care about app performance to much. Unfortunately after some months our EVO started crashing every now and then. It just stopped working and could only be switched on again by removing and reconnecting power. We decided that this is nor acceptable behavior and send it in to the reseller. After some weeks the reseller told us that we have to 1.200 Euro to repair the device! (Although it's still under guarantee) Sorry, but I simply can not afford to use a device I have to pay thousands of Euros again and again to use it. :-(

On the whole, this is a very good amp.
However, the upper partials of the output sound play as super-bright, almost to the point of becoming shrill. I had to acquire a subwoofer to properly balance the high/low spectrum.
And I was disappointed with the layout of the connections area on the rear of the unit. I could not use my usual "banana" speaker-wire connectors because the power-cord plug totally got in the way. I had to do it the old-fashioned way -- stripping the insulation from wire and inserting bare copper into the connectors. Pretty retro for a $3,000 item.
