This is a brilliant piece of kit. I gave up hope that I could link my old 1970’s high quality turntable until I found the ALVA DUO - it is a great design very simple to use and wonderful sound quality. The added bonus of the headphone socket is a good touch

Bought this to replace my tube Riia, use a Rega RP3 with a Nagaoka 200 , and YES this little gem really delivers , so happy with the sound and stereo soundstage and added clarity.
Tested with my reference platters and YES x 2 this is really well worth Riia.

I bought this to use Headphones on my Turntable. I'm using Denon High Output MC DL-110 and Sennheiser HD 660s2 with the Duo. First i pluged in on the MM like it should be and it was the best Sound i ever listen to. Then i tryed the HO MC on the MC in and the Sound is even better and more detailed. No Problem at all. I dont know why because i have absolutely no Idea what im doing. It sound great and im very happy to have this little pre/headphone amp.
