The beauty of working at an independent company is that if someone has an idea like “What if we made a limited run of CX Series 2 , with the same great sound, only in black?” and everyone agrees, then we can just do it.
CX Black Edition is as simple as that, we thought it would look really cool – and here it is. But like all good things, there’s a catch: we’re only making 1000 pieces of each model.
So, that’s a CX Black Edition of our CXA81 and CXA61 amplifiers. Plus a Black Edition CXN V2 network player and CXC CD transport. All designed in London to match each other perfectly, and to play nicely with any black hi-fi separates you may already have.

Each CX Black Edition model is strictly limited to 1000 pieces worldwide – so if you want one, or even a full set, you’d better not hang around. It’s a strictly first come, first served offering. And in-keeping with special editions, each unit comes with a certificate of authenticity.
