I had been looking for a good quality WiFi speaker for our Den. We do not have room for audio components and wanted to get one of the Smart Speakers. I have always been a fan of Cambridge sound and quality. This speaker is amazing, the sound quality is wonderful. This speaker has very good separation and fills our room completely with beautiful music. Very good bass, highs and mid range. The build quality of the speaker is great, the wool cloth cover looks great and adds to the high quality of the speaker. This is not a Smart Speaker alone that works on Google or Alexa but it does offer inputs that allow you to use either systems to make it a Smart Speaker. We enjoy 60/70's rock and smooth jazz and this speaker does not disappoint. I like this speaker so much I purchase another one for our Bonus room.

I have purchased the YoYo (L) to use as a primary music source in fairly large, open area of our home that includes family room, dining room and kitchen. The speaker sounds really terrific - crystal clear, with very good sound balance, volume and depth. The L/R channel separation isn't quite as clear as individual speakers (like the former YoYo(M)) would be, but there is some distinction from the different sides of the YoYo (L) box. I also haven't noticed significant difference in the 3 bass sound settings, but find any of the 3 to be quite nice. I've had no problems with connecting the speaker via Bluetooth, but when connecting by WiFi network, be sure to have a strong WiFi signal to the speaker. Both Autumn and Bob in the Chicago, IL, USA office were very informative and helpful. Thank you, Cambridge Audio, for offering this nice product at a competitive price.

Just arrived 2 days ago. Set up and performing well. Where can I purchase another. Can't find them anywhere online. Are still being produced?

I've used the Yoyo L for about 18 months and want to love it but can't. It has all the elements to be a truly excellent 'smart speaker' but fails as its wifi connection is faulty. I am onto my second unit due to a persistent failing to connect through wifi properly. The first one died and wasn't able to connect to the wifi despite following all the troubleshooting advice and contacting the support them. It was sad that they're response was in effect, 'sorry, we know there's an issue and we're working on it.' Haven't heard back from them in 4 months...nevermind, my retailer organised a replacement unit and it nearly works!

My unit sits next to the router but won't go through a track without micro glitches in the sound. It makes listening to music intolerable. Using spotify connect is a roll the dice affair. Some days it works other days it glitches so much that I have to switch to Bluetooth. I bought it as it integrates into the Google ecosystem but I'd trade it in for a dedicated app that improves wifi casting.

It's a shame as everything else about the unit is wonderful. The sound, when working properly, is rich, balanced and beautifully musical. It looks elegant and has so much potential. It should be a great system but is let down by some failing in its connectivity engineering or coding.

A pity as it deserves 5 stars.
