Dear David,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We are sorry to hear that the EVO 75 (EVO One) has not met your expectations in terms of room-filling sound and spatial presentation. While the EVO series was designed to offer high-quality performance and all-in-one convenience, we appreciate that personal listening preferences, room acoustics, and speaker positioning can significantly influence perceived performance.
The EVO 75 features a high-performance Hypex NCore Class D amplification stage and is capable of driving a wide range of speakers effectively. However, it does not support connection to additional external speakers beyond the main stereo pair. For those seeking more flexibility or a modular approach to system building, our separate component ranges—such as the AX or CX series—may indeed be more suitable.
It is encouraging to know that your CXN100 and CXA100 system paired with Bowers & Wilkins speakers has delivered a sound you are pleased with. That combination benefits from both dedicated source and amplification components, along with a wider speaker configuration, which naturally lends itself to greater separation and scale.
We are grateful for your comparison and your considered remarks. Feedback such as yours helps us better understand the wide range of preferences among listeners and informs future product development.
Should you wish to explore other system configurations in the future, our team or retail partners would be happy to assist in finding the best match for your listening environment and expectations.
Best regards,

I received the Evo One earlier this afternoon. Took 10 minutes from the box to playing Tidal tunes. That first song was breathtaking. How they managed that sound out of a single diminutive box. . .
What they say about the remove not being "Fancy enough" is true but doesnt mean anything. The app controls the device and handles all the navigation of the streaming service.
Aside from the incredible sound, the device is gorgeous. I can't wait to have people over to listen and ogle at it.
If you are even thinking about it, go for it!
I did not buy muzo2 but this. And I am satisfied with my decision!
After reading and watching so many rave reviews, I expected the Evo One to be much better than it is. I am having a difficult time getting it tuned to the way I like. The mids are very forward and the highs seem limited. The bass is very good and it has more of a punch than I expected (yes, I am aware of the room correction settings and the 7-band EQ).
It's difficult to justify the cost when a pair of $500 speakers and a $300 streaming amp blows the sound of this out of the water. The style fits in perfect for the room I have it in, where separate speakers would stand out and be an eyesore. Which was my main motivation for purchasing the Evo One. The sound it puts out is amazing, given it's size, but I still expected better for the price and Cambridge Audio's excellent reputation. I am still demoing and tweaking so I haven't decided yet if it's for me.
Dear Martin,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Evo One. We're sorry to hear that it hasn’t quite met your expectations. We truly appreciate that sound preference is a very personal thing, and despite our best efforts to create a balanced and adaptable listening experience, we realise that the Evo One’s sound signature may not suit everyone.
We're glad to hear that you appreciate the bass performance and the compact design, which was an important consideration in its development. Given that you’re still fine-tuning your setup, I’d encourage you to continue exploring the room correction options and the 7-band EQ, as these can make a significant difference in shaping the sound to your preference.
If you have any questions or would like assistance in optimising your setup, please do reach out to our support team via the Contact Us page on our website—we’d be more than happy to help.
Thank you again for giving the Evo One a try and for your honest feedback.

for me, Evo One turns out to be a very expensive small upgrade to a Bose center soundbar. sound comes from one spot and does not 'fill the room' nor have any 3-dimensional feeling to it. I get no separation unless I turn it up very loud. And it is very limited to me as I cannot hook up any external speakers to improve on it 'width'.
I bought a CXN 100 and CXA 100 with Bowers and Wilkens speakers for downstairs room and I love it.
Evo One does not create any feeling of being 'inside' the music and has no options that i can find for like hook up external speakers. I wish I would have bought the AXN 10 and the AXA35 with separate speakers - for a very similar price - and much fuller sound experience.
