Bought these almost 4 years ago and only now are they showing any kind of wear and tear. Worn them pretty much every day and ive never used earphones with better sound quality. Battery charge has got progressively and only very slightly worse but ive had to charge these maybe 15-20 times ever. Only wish they looked a bit nicer and only real criticism is when the buttons get worn they can be frustrating to use. Generally though pretty faultless.

"I bought two Cambridge Audio headphones within the last month. Unfortunately, I lost the left side of the first pair, but I loved the sound, fit, and ease of use so much that I decided to replace them with a refurbished pair. I got the second pair and enjoyed listening to them at work until one day, while I was near the fryer, the earpiece fell straight into the hot fryer. It seemed like typical luck, but it turned out to be a big testament to British engineering! Four days later, during cleaning the fryer, I found the headphones still in one piece, albeit with the control slightly warped. After cleaning the earpiece, I plugged it into the case, gave it a little charge, and to my surprise, it connected and played. The only thing that didn't work was the mic. Now, I'm on my third pair, which was on order the same night the second pair fell into the fryer."

Bought the melomania 1+ to replace a lost pair of the original melomanias. Wonderful sound, great app but developed a fault. Customer service couldn't have been better, within 2 days of asking for technical help and reporting the fault, I had a new pair of earbuds delivered. Exceptional customer service with updates provided along the way. Thank so much for all your help!

Yes exactly as received. Melomania 1, witch these are aren't compatible with the app. Although identical, these aren't app compatible. I searched online the difference of the 2, 1 and 1+ and app compatibility is it. The sound of APTX compatible on 5g phone and the quality is absolutely as described, a unique premium sound profile. Pairing can be confusing when the mind is set on the mass of Bluetooth digital earbuds because most pair left and right out the case, but the Cambridge will pair either Left or Right earbuds and play in sync. I had the same confusion, until I played a track and sound was harmoniously synced in stereo(both ears). So, owner/listener has the option when reconnecting earbuds to choose either right or left and received stereo sound. Cambridge Audio stands proven to it's history of excellent quality sound design.
