Rough Trade Alva ST Promotion | Terms and Conditions

1. This promotion is being run by Cambridge Audio.

2. This promotion applies to qualifying purchases of new Cambridge Audio Alva ST turntables between 1st August 2023 and 31st September 2023, or sooner if stocks dictate

3. This promotion is open only to UK or US residents, over 18, with a verifiable UK or US postal address. Only one claim can be made per household

4. To qualify you must purchase a new boxed Alva ST turntable either online directly from Cambridge Audio or an authorised dealer. (eBay sales, clearance, refurbished or open-box products do not qualify.) Qualifying purchases cannot be subject to additional retailer promotions. The turntable must be registered with Cambridge Audio within 14 days of purchase

5. After registering your product,  you will be entered into a prize draw. There is one (1) monthly prize for the UK and another (1) monthly prize for the US. The prizes are the following: 

a. United States – $100 voucher code to use at Rough Trade’s stores or online at https://www.roughtrade.com/. The voucher code can be used in multiple transactions, within 24 months of issue.

b. United Kingdom – a three-month Rough Trade Vinyl Club subscription voucher code. To redeem it, eligible winners will need to visit https://www.roughtrade.com/gb/club and follow the steps: 

1) Create an account, if you don't have one already

2) Select 'For You' and then click 'Continue' 

3) Select 'LP' and then click 'Continue' 

4) Click 'Place Order' 

5) On the checkout page, please click the 'Add promotion code' and add your code. The charge amount should change to £0.00 

6) Enter your personal details, delivery address and payment details (you will not be charged during the first three months) and click 'Subscribe'

6. The winner will be randomly drawn, by a third party (not employed by Cambridge Audio), on the first working day of each month after the qualifying period. Substitute winners will be drawn at the same time.

7. The winner will be contacted using the email address provided, no later than 10 working days after being selected. Cambridge Audio will then request: a valid proof of purchase and a photograph of your turntable’s serial number, which will be verified. Please allow up to 5 working days for verification.  On successful verification, Cambridge Audio will issue the prize via email.  

8. The winner must respond within 10 working days. If not, the prize will be forfeited and offered to the first drawn substitute winner, repeating this process.

9. Any matters arising from the use of the voucher code must be addressed to Rough Trade, rather than Cambridge Audio

10. By opting into this promotion you agree to receive emails from Cambridge Audio, including product and service updates, offers and other marketing communications. You can withdraw your permission at any time afterwards

11. Cambridge Audio will process your personal data as stated in its Privacy Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all Cambridge Audio emails

12. A maximum of one claim per turntable serial number, and per verified address, is permitted

13. Cambridge Audio will not accept responsibility if the contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate

14. The Rough Trade voucher code is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered

15. We reserve the right to substitute a Rough Trade voucher code with another prize of equal, or higher, value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so

16. The decision of Cambridge Audio regarding any aspect of this promotion, up to and including the issuing of the Rough Trade voucher code, is final and binding.

17. Cambridge Audio reserves the right to cancel the promotion or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice

18. The offer and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
