PURE PROCESS
Generally the digital to analogue converter found in typical digital devices is pretty poor and won’t extract the truest quality of audio from your sources. The DacMagic 100 works by taking a direct digital audio signal from your device to bypass its soundcard or DAC. It then digitally processes the audio signal using our custom designed technology, dramatically improving sound quality and reducing distortion. This results in greater detail, sparkling clarity and a deeper scale to all of your audio.
COMPATIBILITY
DacMagic 100 is very flexible and supports virtually all digital file formats including the very highest quality 24-bit studio master or lossless quality audio files stored on your computer. With three different digital connectivity options and the ability to connect four devices concurrently, DacMagic 100 is a true digital music enhancement hub. Set-up is totally intuitive, allowing you to begin enjoying better quality audio in minutes.

Like all our products, the DacMagic 100 was custom developed from the ground-up by our design team at our headquarters in the heart of London. It makes a decent noise out of lesser digital components, but the LEDs on the front are clearly unreliable. S/PDIF 1 is now very dim, and TOSLink failed completely after little more than 8 months. Clearly this doesn't affect its function, but it doesn't inspire confidence.

A quality, simple answer to my problem. I am elderly, not really tech savvy, with quite an old hi fi system, without a digital input. I added a modern smart telly & decided I would like to download the musical audio output through my system. This DacMagic 100 has been the perfect answer to my problem. Inexpensive, easy to install even for me, & opens up a whole new musical world. Definitely one of my best decisions.

Very good sound.
Low 5 star because there is no way to make it start when external power is turned on. Complicated to make it work on usb 2. I had to google to until I almost died until I found out how to do in a YouTube video.
