Generally the digital to analogue converter found in typical digital devices is pretty poor and won’t extract the truest quality of audio from your sources. The DacMagic 100 works by taking a direct digital audio signal from your device to bypass its soundcard or DAC. It then digitally processes the audio signal using our custom designed technology, dramatically improving sound quality and reducing distortion. This results in greater detail, sparkling clarity and a deeper scale to all of your audio.

DacMagic 100 is very flexible and supports virtually all digital file formats including the very highest quality 24-bit studio master or lossless quality audio files stored on your computer. Very good, clear sound
Bought this to go with a new Bluray player which had a rather poor analogue output. This DAC improved the sound enormously. The only minor niggle I have is that I would have liked two optical inputs rather than two S/PDIF inputs.

Awkward to use
Keeps switching off - you have to switch it on every time you want to use it.

The indicator lights on it are small and dim which make this even more difficult

Ich habe einen betagten PIONEER PD905F CDfile, der ein Magazin für 100 CDs hat.
Seit einiger Zeit ist der Klang im Bass unsauber und in den Höhen unpräzise, so dass ich keinen Spass mehr daran gehabt habe. Ein aktueller CD-Spieler hätte aber bedeutet, auf das Magazin und damit die Zufallswiedergabe aus allen CDs zu verzichten.
Ich habe den DacMagic angeschlossen (über TOSLINK) und siehe da: trockene Bässe und klare Höhen!
Ich gebe für den DAC eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!
