DacMagic 100
Thanks to a Wolfson 24-bit DAC, a 24-bit/96kHz driverless USB Audio 1.0 input and S/PDIF and TosLink digital inputs, the DacMagic 100 takes the sound from your computer, iPod, TV and other digital devices and adds detail, depth and added clarity to give you a true audio experience.
Generally the digital to analogue converter found in typical digital devices is pretty poor and won’t extract the truest quality of audio from your sources. The DacMagic 100 works by taking a direct digital audio signal from your device to bypass its soundcard or DAC. It then digitally processes the audio signal using our custom designed technology, dramatically improving sound quality and reducing distortion. This results in greater detail, sparkling clarity and a deeper scale to all of your audio.
DacMagic 100 is very flexible and supports virtually all digital file formats including the very highest quality 24-bit studio master or lossless quality audio files stored on your computer. With three different digital connectivity options and the ability to connect four devices concurrently, DacMagic 100 is a true digital music enhancement hub. Set-up is totally intuitive, allowing you to begin enjoying better quality audio in minutes.
Like all our products, the DacMagic 100 was custom developed from the ground-up by our design team at our headquarters in the heart of London. Our engineering teams put an incredible amount of attention to detail on ensuring the sound quality is the focus of the product, for the DacMagic 100 this included incorporating the very latest digital to analogue converter from market-leader Wolfson.
Très heureux de mon achat; Pas forcément simple niveau paramétrage USB et paramétrage du lecteur audio PC.
Mais une fois calé, un pur bonheur, notamment pour enfin gouter à du HI-Res...
I bought this awhile ago and from the start it was dead. I brought it back and they sent it out. Well, Cambridge Audio sent it back, in the package with no other protective box. Idk about you, but I like to keep my boxes nice. This came back beat to, well you know what with shipping stickers on it. A far cry from how it was shipped out. I contacted Cambridge Audio and no one seemed to care to replace the box, which I’m sorry a company like that that handles a situation like that and REFUSES to help? Nope. Any other audio products I buy will NOT be from Cambridge Audio again.
Hi. I have a Turntable * ION model TTUSB10 and it has a UBS output. Is it possible that the UBS signal of this item is compatible in processing the Cambrigde DACMagic 100?
Hello
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review.
The DacMagic 100's USB audio input is really only intended to be used with Mac and PC computers.
This may still work with the USB audio output of a turntable as that output would be a stereo PCM signal. There is however no way of guaranteeing this would work and unfortunately we wouldn't be able to assist with this as this was not the design intention of the USB audio input.Best RegardsCambridge Audio USA

Hi,
Bought it in October last year, mainly listening to headphones, coupled with a Beresford Capella headphone amplifier.
And this combo harmonizes easily and in the meantime I have tried other headphone amplifiers and nobody even got one from the 1000 € class that was lavishly equipped technically. In terms of sound, the little Dac plays something natural and honest, clear, musical Something Cambridge has done with the device where it can still be seen today, the drivers are also good to install and put in the UB class 2.
I would buy it again at any time. I do not know if it makes sense to update it, if so then please all the functions it has.
