Great sounding headphones. It's so good that I could hear sounds that I didn't hear before in music I've listened to plenty of times. Value for money is there. I would like it to be more have more bass. It's flat in the low frequencies and very detailed in the mid and high frequencies. Overall it's a great headphone.
These are my best sounding headphones so far. I sold on my Sennheiser Momentum 4's to buy these and I also own Bowers and Wilkins PX7 S2. They easily beat the Sennheiser's in sound. And they also edge out the PX7's. Compared to the latter, the vocals are clearer, the bass is more refined and the soundstage is much wider.
The app is also easier to use,
They only lose a star because of comfort and appearance. The top of the headband, while not uncomfortable, could definitely benefit from extra padding. The only area I dislike is the yoke design and the shape on the head. They appear massive and on the head are a real negative compared to the Sennheiser and the Bowers and Wilkins. Nevertheless they are fabulous headphones and for me if the areas outlined were addressed they would be unbeatable.
Great headphones which punch well above their price point. Great detail retrieval and clarity. Only caveat is no Spatial Audio. Build quality is superb.
This is my first pair of Bluetooth headphones so I can't compare the sound of these headphones to others and I don't know all the the technical terms people use for comparing headphones to each other. That said I have put over 100 hours on them and I just love them, they have a crystal clear sound (they actually sound richer now that I've broken them in than they did right out of the box) and the sound staging is great. The ANC is good I can still hear voices very faintly with it in high but if I have music on it I'm talking to someone on the phone the voices dissappear.
The battery is absolutely top notch (I'm sure I got close to if not exactly 100 hours, I didn't time it but I have used them A LOT and am currently at 61% on my second charge) the app is super easy to use, I have experienced an occasional bug where I have to agree to the terms of service again to use the app which is slightly annoying
The batteries and ear cuffs are under replacable and sold by Cambridge at an affordable price, they don't use paper or plasticc in their packaging and the company is a member of a living wage program, all values that I can get behind, If you're new to the world of over ear headphones and are agonizing over what to buy I strongly recommend these, I can all but guarantee you won't be dissappointed. keep up the good work Cambridge!
